Concertiv is hiring an analytical, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial-minded Analyst who will be responsible for conducting analyses across our entire data stack and supporting the continued growth of our analytics function and business. This is a hands-on and demanding role that will offer a broad exposure to data analysis and management, business intelligence, and product development at an organization in a rapid growth stage. Candidates for this role will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact across the different teams and stakeholders of the business by driving meaningful insights through data. While there is a substantial analytical component to the position, it is also very much about ‘doing’ and rapidly implementing ideas, including developing improved workflows and taking ownership of key customer deliverables.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership in the development and maintenance of key reporting processes and deliverables for executives at leading investment banking, private equity, law, and consulting firms
  • Strategically refine the collection, ingestion, and transformation of data in the Concertiv analytics pipeline
  • Generate dashboards from large, messy datasets that support analyses of our customers’ KPIs
  • Effectively analyze data across different channels and functions to provide ad-hoc analyses and to generate actionable insights that directly support growth initiatives at the firm
  • Create new tools and business processes that simplify, standardize, and enable operational excellence internally
  • Develop a deep understanding and expertise of managing data and developing data solutions in opaque industries facing disruption
Experience & Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of consulting, business analytics, investment banking, business intelligence, or related experience
  • BA or BS degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative focus preferred but all academic backgrounds will be considered
  • High-level comfort with Excel (e.g., formulas, charting, etc.) and experience with reporting and/or business intelligence platforms such as Sisense, Tableau, Chartio, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to completion with minimal guidance
  • Excellent organizational skills and flawless attention to detail – ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage a large volume of information
  • Exceptional data management skills, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple sources and systems; experience manipulating and normalizing data sets through statistical software or tools preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate results of analyses effectively, and influence decision-making in the firm and to clients

Market Data Analyst
New York

Concertiv Inc. is hiring a Senior Analyst to work with investment banking, private equity, and asset management executives on their market data and information services portfolios. These data services enable Concertiv Inc. clients to complete critical day-to-day tasks from deal sourcing and origination to closure. As a Market Data Senior Analyst, you would be responsible for managing client subscriptions, advising on the procurement of new data services, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring our clients’ employees have the proper workbench of data services required for their jobs. The Senior Analyst will be the fifth member of Concertiv Inc.’s growing market data team.

This is a hands-on role, offering broad exposure to project management, procurement strategy, negotiation tactics, and financial services operations in a highly entrepreneurial environment. While there is a substantial analytical component to the position, it is also very much about ‘doing’ and rapidly implementing ideas, including producing client-ready presentations and executing the details of data-driven projects. This is a client-facing and vendor-facing role.

A high degree of discretion is required, as you will frequently handle sensitive and confidential information within elite financial services institutions.

  • Negotiate hundreds of data subscriptions for clients
  • Source new research, data, and technology products and recommend best-in-class products to financial services clients
  • Analyze business cases, cost projections, and vendor proposals
  • Lead client check-in calls with senior executives (CFOs, COOs, and GCs)
  • Troubleshoot common subscription issues, including licensing problems and invoice verification
  • Generate internal and external reports to track Concertiv Inc. customer service wins and negotiating success
  • Create market data vendor landscapes to help clients assess product values
  • Demo & collect client feedback on Concertiv Inc. Technology stack
Experience & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with data and research products is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience negotiating subscription agreements as either a buyer or seller
  • Ability to speak authoritatively to client stakeholders including the C-Suite
  • Basic math, data manipulation, and formatting skills to create client-facing work in Excel and PowerPoint; you don’t need to be an artist, but we don’t have a design team!
  • Effective written communication via email, presentations, and (down the road) white papers/industry analysis
  • Ability to balance simultaneous negotiations across multiple clients; calm under pressure
  • Can be trusted to work when working from home

Sales Strategy Senior Analyst

Concertiv Inc. is seeking a highly quantitative analyst ready to step up into a revenue-driving leadership role at a fast-growth B2B early-stage firm servicing the finance and professional services industries.

The Sales Strategy Senior Analyst will have substantial opportunity to drive firm-wide sales strategy and revenue growth. By analyzing Concertiv Inc.’s market opportunities, the candidate will recommend an ROI-driven approach to optimize Concertiv Inc.’s sales pipeline. Exposure to C-suite executives at investment banking, private equity, alternative asset management and professional services firms will provide high level industry insights.

The Sales Strategy Senior Analyst reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Concertiv Inc. offers a significant growth trajectory within a highly entrepreneurial environment. Successful candidates will have substantial knowledge of the financial services industry Concertiv Inc. serves or Concertiv Inc.’s vendor verticals including corporate travel, market data and insurance.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy

  • Guide revenue strategy: Taking a customer-centric approach, assess the pain-points financial institutions have in corporate administration. Assess the quantitative market opportunity for strategic sourcing products for each account.
  • Discover data-driven strategic insights: Analyze addressable market, market share, revenue opportunity, coverage, conversion rate and new product opportunities.Make strategic recommendations to optimize the sales funnel.
  • Quantify opportunities: Assess optimal operations sourcing strategy for each prospect, recommend optimal Concertiv Inc. products and calculate potential cost savings.
  • Create sales materials for C-suite executives: Design and create custom sales presentations for key decision makers.

Sales Administration

  • Implement and manage CRM software: Design data strategy, manage pipeline and sales analytics in Salesforce.
  • Respond to inbound leads: Nurture prospective members and administer external brand ambassador network.

B2B Marketing – Finance and Professional Services Industry

Travel Services Analyst

Concertiv Inc. is hiring a superstar, service-oriented Analyst to workwith some of the most prestigious institutions in the world on their corporate travel programs. This is a hands-on role, offering exposure to global investment banking, private equity, consulting, and law firm executives within an entrepreneurial environment. Successful candidates will have an interest in the travel industry and a drive to roll up their sleeves to deliver successful outcomes for our clients.

The position requires a proactive and strong work ethic – you should be enthusiastic about clearing roadblocks when necessary to get things done. Along with day-to-day account management and customer service, you’ll contribute to the development and marketing of innovative products, reporting, and implementations of high-end corporate travel programs.

Responsibilities

Project Management, Customer Service, and Communications

  • Work with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to implement corporate travel programs and onboard new members
  • Support Concertiv Inc.’s senior travel team on client-specific execution and project management

  • Execute on account project plans, including schedules, requirements, deliverables, and milestones

  • Develop relationships with client executives and staff by advising them on access to Concertiv Inc. programs

  • Advise clients on travel and expense policies and processes, benchmarking, and industry trends

  • Create presentation and marketing materials, including supplier and training guides, proposal comparisons, and other frameworks to drive client participation and engagement

  • Assist Concertiv Inc.’s Travel Services Directors with negotiations with a focus on airline contracts

Industry Relations

  • Streamline rate loading and fare filing and work with supplier partners to audit discounts and rates

  • Work on business cases to support development of vendor partnerships on behalf of Concertiv Inc. members

  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay current on corporate travel developments

Experience & Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of professional experience
  • Corporate travel experience is a plus but not required
  • High level of comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint, in particular)
