Manager, Business Development

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Manager to lead our business development and strategic partnership efforts with key vendors in categories such as desktop workstations, expert networks, private company data, and technology.

In this high-impact role, you will lead the buildout of Concertiv’s vendor-facing capabilities within our Data & Technology business. You will serve as the primary point of contact to the vendor community, managing relationships that drive mutual value, streamline operations, and enhance the client experience. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, relationship management skills, and the ability to align incentives across internal and external stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Source, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with key market data and technology vendors
  • Align deals with client needs by securing favorable pricing, terms, and operational efficiencies
  • Work closely with vendor partners to identify ways we can help them achieve their goals and create mutual value
  • Partner with internal teams (procurement, legal, client management) to structure scalable agreements
  • Monitor performance and expand high-impact partnerships; act as primary relationship owner
  • Create and maintain partner materials, including term sheets, pitch decks, and dashboards
  • Represent Concertiv in vendor meetings and industry events with clarity and credibility

Skills and experience:

  • 4–7+ years of experience driving external partnerships, M&A, or commercial relationships
  • Proven track record of building, formalizing, and scaling B2B partnerships - preferably within financial services or other regulated industries; experience establishing the function from the ground up is a plus
  • Skilled in leading complex negotiations, structuring partnership agreements, and managing long-term relationships
  • Strong project management and cross-functional execution, with a focus on driving measurable outcomes
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align internal/external priorities
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
